You can't walk very far in Munich's town center without coming across a gorgeous church.
We were lucky to see the 17th-century Theatinerkirche when it was almost empty.
When visiting European churches, don't forget to look up!
St. Peter's is the oldest church in Munich. As beautiful as it is inside, be sure to walk around the church and admire the tombstones on the outside wall
